I have a question on a couple of configuration parameters I see in a
SunOne 5.2 dse.ldif but don't see referenced in a FDS or RHDS dse.ldif
or in the FDS or RHDS documentation. Specifically,
nsslapd-maxconnections
nsslapd-threadnumber
Are these supported in FDS or RHDS? If so, do they still operate in
the same manner as they would on a SunOne 5.2 DS instance?
The SunOne 5.2 docs indicate that if nsslapd-maxconnections is not
set, then the value defaults to the max number of file descriptors.
On SunOne, the nsslapd-threadnumber defaults to 30.
If config parameters are set to their default values, they will not show
up in dse.ldif. Do an LDAP search of cn=config to see all config
parameters with their default values.
I'm not sure what nsslapd-maxconnections is - Fedora DS has a parameter
called nsslapd-conntablesize that may be related.
Thanks
