I'd like to announce the release of the dirsrv v0.1.0 cookbook for the 389
Directory Server. This is an application cookbook following the development
pattern described here:
Currently it can be used to spin up directory instances, manage users,
plugins, cn=config entries, create indices, and configure replication. The
ldap credentials used can be configured per-resource and read from either a
databag or passed in as a hash. For a working demonstration, clone the
repository and vagrant up.
Here are the next few items on the TODO list:
* Register admin server with a remote configuration directory a la

Doing some experimenting with user password policies.
I created an account and then applied a user level fine grained password
policy on that account. Then I deleted the account. Then I recreated the
account, and the fine grained password policy still exists/is associated
with this account. Why is this?
