389 Directory Server 1.3.1.0.a1[http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/1.3.1.0.a1]

The 389 Directory Server team is proud to announce 389-ds-base version 1.3.1.0.a1.

This is an alpha version of 1.3.1.0. Rpm packages are available to download from http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=5243486 for F19 and http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=5243528 for F18.

Please note that the official 389-ds-base-1.3.1 will be supported on Fedora 19 and newer.

Installation and Upgrade

First, download packages using yum install

yum install

Then, download 389-ds-base-1.3.1.0.a1 rpm files from here for F19 or here for F18.

389-ds-base-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm
389-ds-base-libs-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm

To install the rpm files, run rpm command as follows.

rpm -Uvh 389-ds-base-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm 389-ds-base-libs-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm

After install completes, run setup-ds-admin.pl to set up your directory server.

setup-ds-admin.pl

To upgrade, use yum upgrade

yum upgrade

Then, download 389-ds-base-1.3.1.0.a1 rpm files from http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=5243486 for F19 and http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=5243528 for F18.

To install the rpm files, run rpm command as follows.

rpm -Uvh 389-ds-base-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm 389-ds-base-libs-1.3.1.0.a1-1.fc1#.<arch>.rpm

After upgrade completes, run setup-ds-admin.pl -u to update your directory server/admin server/console information.
