Feedback needed for design of Flash messages

I think as we have the notifications positioned in one place through the 
whole application, I find the left border as sufficient highlight to get 
user's atention as he is familiar with notifications position. Also as 
Jaromir said, in the form's case the notification is supported with 
field highlight. Lastly I find white background more visually pleasing.
