Subject: Installing VDSM
Hi,
I am trying to install VDSM onto my workstation, which is running Red
Hat
Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.1 64-bit. I downloaded the
latest
code from the git repository (
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=vdsm.git)
and compiled it using the following commands:
# ./autobuild.sh
# ./configure
# make
# make install
The install seemed to go well, but when I try to start vdsm
under /usr/local/share/vdsm, I get the following error:
You should do it by 'service vdsmd start'
# ./vdsm
I am the actual vdsm 4.9-0

Is there a procedure to start VDSM? I could not find any documentation
in
the code.
Thanks,
