Thanks to the good and diligent work of Federico and Dan B we now
have a better build process.
The job is not done and there are more changes ahead but I just
wanted to let everyone know that just doing `$ make` will NOT build
an RPM any more. only `$ make rpm` will build you one.
Change your scripts accordingly.
Thanks again to Federico and Dan B. A simple and standard build
process is crucial for community adoption.
VDSM is now included in the autobuild build server I am setting
up for all virt related components. This tests a from scratch build
and install from SCM, including RPM build
http://builder.virt-tools.org/
Currently this is just running ad-hoc basis, but in the near future
I'll be getting it to run on a regular schedule, perhaps as much as
once an hour, depending on how long a complete build cycle takes.
I'll also be able to enable email alerts of any breakage.
Regards,
Daniel
